LG has launched in India its new LG Gram 14 Ultralight laptop which was unveiled at the CES 2016 event. The laptop which is considered to be the lightest in weight weighing just 980 grams, comes in two variants, 4GB of RAM and 8GB of RAM, which are priced at Rs. 79,990 and Rs. 94,990 respectively. The company said that both the laptops will be available for sale soon in the company owned LG brand outlets and other IT multi brand outlets. However, as of now, Paytm will be the exclusive seller for the 8 GB RAM variant at a price of Rs. 84,499, with a cashback offer.
This ultralight and slim laptop features 14 inch screen size 1920 x 1080 p displays, dimensions of 323.9 x 225.4 x 13.4 mm, and runs on Windows 10 out-of-the-box. The laptop comes with very thin bezel sides, and is protected by a magnesium and magnesium alloy body.
Coming to the specifications this new LG brand laptop is powered with a 2.3GHz Intel Core i5 6200U processor and Intel HD Graphics 520. There is a HD webcam and a 34.61Whr battery on board for the laptop. The company boasts that the battery backup of the laptop provides 7.5 hours of activity without the need of charging.
The laptop comes with stereo speakers and an inbuilt microphone. The connectivity options of the laptop include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and has one port for Ethernet, two for USB 3.0, one for USB 2.0, and one for HDMI connectivity.
The company says that the LG Gram 14 laptop comes with three years of onsite warranty. And also the company said that the 4GB variant of the Gram 14 laptop will be available in Black color, while the 8GB variant will be available in Gold color.
