Evan Blass, the VentureBeat reporter, and a well known source for device leaks has leaked two new images, one showing the back side of three color variants of the Lenovo’s new Droid phones, and the other of three accessories of these phones, called MotoMods.
Speculations are that these three phones are three different versions of the Lenovo’s Droid phone. On the backside of these images, as we can see in the image, “Droid” was branding just beneath the lens, and the “Moto” branding in the middle of the phone. It is also assumed that, as the Droid series is exclusive to Verizon, the changes in branding might be due to the requests from the Verizon. And, many expect that a giant Verizon logo be present on the front of the phone.
These new accessories, called MotoMods, add new functionality to the phone by snapping onto the phone back. These three accessories feature differently with one having a projector, another having JBL speakers and the other having an add-on camera from Hasselblad. It is hyped that these three accessories are going to make the devices more interesting than the comparable competitors.
Although only these are speculations created from the appearances of these two images of phones and the accessories, the reality can be only known through the launch event of this phone device that is going to happen on June 9th.
