The flagship smartphone of Xiaomi, Mi5 which was announced in March and was available in flash sale model from April 6, was going to be available in open sale on May 4 the company has announced. Including the 20000mAh Power Bank, the flagship smartphone will be available without registrations on the company’s website Mi.com

The company also said that the flagship smartphone, priced at Rs. 24,999, will be available through its e-commerce partners after a few weeks, and, as of now it will be available only through the company website Mi.com. The company, as of now, is only bringing single variant of the flagship smartphone Mi5 which was the ‘standard edition’ in China.

The flagship smartphone Xiaomi Mi5, which was unveiled in China in February, is the next after Mi4 which was available in the market two years earlier. The company boasts itself about the Mi4 being one of its best sellers with sales figures close to 4 million.

The smartphone’s added feature, the 20000mAh Power Bank is the company’s highest capacity power bank to be available in India, which has fast charging capacity and can be charged fully in 7 hours. The price of this power bank is as earlier at Rs. 1,699.

This single variant of the Xiaomi Mi5 features 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. The two other variants which have been launched in China are the prime edition that features 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64 GB inbuilt storage, and pro edition that features 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 128 GB inbuilt storage.
