As per recent reports currently circulating the German media, Whatsapp, the most popular messaging app in the world, will be adding a list of new and advanced features, which will bring about certain revisions in the app’s functions and how it is used. As per screenshots received of the new 2.16.7.257 beta version, users will be allowed to share music among themselves when the updates are launched. Other than MP3 music files, tones and tunes, Apple Music tracks can be shared through Whatsapp when the update takes effect. But users will have to be subscribed on the Apple streaming music service so as to listen to and share the tracks.

Along with the music sharing feature, big emojis will also be introduced in this new version of the app. The emoji’s size will be similar to the ones provided on the iOS 10 system by default. This news was mentioned in the same report released a few days ago. As per the reports, the new emojis will be three times the size of the emojis being provided on Whatsapp now.
Along with these new features, Whatsapp will also allow access to public chat groups, where users can post anything they want, provided they have the link to that chat group. The control, however, will be in the hands of the admin of the group, who will have authority to change the privacy settings of the group as and when needed. All these features are being tried out in the beta test version, so it can be confirmed that more features will be declared in due course.
