The Nexus 9 Tablet brings together both beauty and performance. Ever since we checked out the spec-sheet of the Nexus 9, we had been excited to actually get our hands on the device because of its top-end specifications. The competition is in the tablet segment is tough for the Nexus 9 where you have some of the competitors like the Samsung Tab S. Let’s begin with the design of the gadget. When we first saw the pictures and then subsequently got our hands on the actually device, the aura of HTC was quite evident on this Google product. The high-end finishing details on the device, like the metallic rim, do give it a very distinguished and characteristic look.

The grip aids accent the look of the tablet and the white colored model looks high-end due to the silver chamfered edges. There is no card slot for a microSD card, therefore if you are someone that likes to carry a full movie library of your favorite movies in HD, the 32BG trim is the better choice. The 6700mAh battery is pretty good but the high resolution big screen does drain out the juice.

The concluding word on the Nexus 9’s design is that it is lightweight and being a big device it means that you will be using both your hands when using it.

Interface – Nexus 9 Tablet

The Nexus comes with Android Lollipop straight out of the box. The Android v5.0 (Lollipop) is a great on the wide screen of the tablet. The new touch of the UI is really quick to respond and all the icons look slick. The notification bar at the top of the screen is also something that impressed us.

CPU – Nexus 9 Tablet

The chipset on the Nexus 9 tablet is Nvidia K1; as opposed to the Qualcomm chipsets that we are accustomed to seeing the Nexus devices. To most users the difference will be hard to notice but there is a notable improvement in the performance. The new chipset is faster and the graphics are much better even though the RAM is 2GB.

The Nexus 9 is a true blue Nexus device, but of course without the “affordable” pricing. The tablet does what it says it will do and the design is also very impressive. The camera did not impress us, and being a tablet, we didn’t really want go into a length description. The sound from the front facing speakers was rich and clear, which is something we have come to expect from Nexus tablets. If you are looking for a reliable tablet that looks good and performs well, Nexus 9 Table is a good buy.
