Xiaomi Mi support full metal body with chambered edges this hand set weighs 203 grams with a fairly slim body at 7.5mm. It has a 6.44 inch full HD display accompanied by gorilla glass3. The sim tray is in the left side where one or two sims can be adjusted in addition to a micro SD card with a memory of up to 128GB. It has a mono speaker at the bottom with a USB port. The head phone socket and infrared emitter is placed at the top. On the back side it has a primary camera dual tone LED flash fingerprint sensor. The kit comes with a cable, charger, sim ejector tool and instruction leaflet.
Xiaomi Mi runs on MIUI 7, a customized version of Android Marshmallow but certain features are missing which would soon be added to the tab and soon the tab is planned to be upgraded to MIUI 8. It has 4850mAh battery that lasts upto two days when actively used. there is a 10W power adapter that speeds up the process of charging. It is powered by a hexa core qualcomm snapdragon 650 SoC, 3g of RAM and 32GB of storage.
It has a 16 megapixel sensor on the rare camera with phase detection that is capable of recording 4k videos and the front camera is 5 megapixel that records around 720p video with average indoos shots.though mono speaker does not facilitate the best experience yet its audio quality is good over headphones with audio enhancement and equalizers. Prominent feature is the quick ball that lets one assign five shortcuts to function or an application to floating home screen.
There are certain shortcomings as one has to combat to adjust with its sheer size during commutes in daily routine and it is difficult to stuff it into the pocket.
