In a YouTube video the brand has posted a video of the phone that features it to be a 3G variant smart phone at an unbelievable price of just Rs. 6,999. There are also rumors of Motorola releasing the phone also on 4G LTE support.The phone is announced to be released in 50 countries of Asia, Europe, North America and Latin America together. The 3G supported has been priced at about $119.99 and the 4G LTE supported at around $149.99.
Features for the Motorola 3G device
The phone with 3G version is said to have been powered by a 200 quad core processor of 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon.The 4.5 inch screen will have a display of 540×960 pixels and will be protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Though the model view and the screen may have the same features of Motorola’s first-generation smartphone, but now the phone will run on the operating system of Android 5.0.
Now talking about the camera features, the new Motorola smartphone has a front VGA camera also of 0.3 MP for a selfie shooter, which was not there in the first generation smartphones of Motorola. Though the front camera feature is a new addition to the device, but the rear camera has been kept the same at 5 MP resolutions but this time with a flash feature near the camera and an autofocus feature also.
The RAM has been also kept similar to the previous phones i.e., 1 GB. The inbuilt storage of the phone has been increased to now 8 GB that can be increased more up to 32 GB using an SD card. It is said that the new phone will also run on the same software of Moto X flagship.The battery has been also improved from 2,080 mAh to 2,390 mAh.
Features of Motorola 4G device
It is said that both the phones 3G and 4G will look almost the same with similar hardware, software, camera, storage and others apart from a few differences here and there. The very main difference is quite noticeable in the connectivity feature.
Secondly, the 4G device has a processor of 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 64 – bit quad – core 410 chips. This device will also feature software like Moto Display and Moto Migrate similar to the 3G device.
With the launch of the 4G supported phones at such a budget, Motorola will enter a market where brands like Lenevo, Xiaomi and Micromax are already flourishing.
