Latest Feature of iOS 9.3 – A Boon For Late Night Readers

new feature of ios 9.3

There are a number of people who love to read at night when everyone else is sleeping. Sometimes, due to lack of surrounding light, a pressure may be ascertained on the eyes. Apple is ready to solve out this issue with its new feature in iOS 9.3. As per this feature you will be able read from the device easily at darkness of night without having any pressure on your eyelids.

The iOS is said to get an update with a feature known as ‘Night Shift’. This feature will change the color of the device light according to time. This will be done easily as the feature will track the time from your phone and accordingly to shift the colors of the light so that you can comfortably read from the device even during the darkness of night.

Mac and Windows already had an application named as f.lux that had the feature of shifting colors of the display light depending upon the day time. Presently this application has been installed by above 15 million users and the new feature of iOS 9.3 is something similar to this.

Apple had this idea since last year but could not release an application for it for several security reasons. But the feature can be noticed in the updated version of iOS 9.3.

Though technology has made lives easier but some of the habits such as using smartphone while sleeping can have adverse effect on your health. This can be resolved if the color tone of the display light is shifted to a warmer side. This gives comfort to your eyes and hence your sleep is not affected.

Though the news about the update is already out but it is still in the hands of the developers to release. It may take a time of about 2 weeks or so for the users to see the update in their devices. You can get to notice the update first of course on beta software of iOS 9.3 but this can be a bit unstable and you need to wait for the released update to use on your device.
