Mailbox, Firefox OS and other technologies that turned Obsolete

The only constant thing in the world of technologies is Change. Every year hundreds of new technologies are developed and every year numerous technologies go obsolete. This give and take is the only constant thing in the world of technologies. We have seen how amazingly Android replaced other Operating Systems we used to use and we have also witnessed how pen drives have replaced compact disks. Here we are going to have an intricate look at the technologies that died in the year 2015:

Music Service providers like Rdio, Zune Music Pass and Songs: All these music service providers were great technologies. They have helped a lot of people access the best of music from around the world. Unfortunately the advent of music app on this planet coaxed these services to make an exit. Today people are accessing and enjoying music from the remotest corners of the world.

Productive apps had the worst end: (Mailbox, Tempo and Sunrise): It is about the year 2012 to 2014 when enterprises were building apps that helped people manage their contacts, finances and emails better. These apps were referred to as Productive apps but today they are nowhere to be seen. A lot of apps like Sunrise, Tempo and Mailbox had to close down because of their inefficiency. With the technological advancements, a lot of new and easier apps surfaced and these had to close down.

Amazon Fire Phone and Firefox OS were mistakes: Yes! In the contemporary world, it is extremely difficult to sell a phone if it has no Android OS. You can’t sell a phone with Android OS in it unless it is Apple iPhone. Amazon and Firefox made a lot of attempts but at the end they had to close their OS business. This is a lesson Microsoft is yet to learn. With Nokia turning into Microsoft Mobile there are still possibilities of Nokia resurfacing as a Mobile Giant but it is going to take time, a lot of time.

Gone are the days when romance was in the air today we have got ‘Favorites’ button on the Twitter and we simply cannot star mark the amazing post made by our Stars for us. A lot of people are yet to recover from this change.

Gone are the days when annoying messages to update your Adobe Flash used to fill your screen. Today Google Chrome has grown self-sufficient and is looking forward to

Google+ is also dying: We all know Google+ as Wanna-be Facebook. Over the time Google has been working to make it better but it seems to go nowhere and hence here is the end. It is not yet official but a lot of experts, including me believe it to be dying and expect its death by the year 2016.
