HTC has launched its flagship Smartphone HTC 10

After a several hypes creating and roaming around the internet of its flagship smartphone HTC 10, the Taiwanese company has finally confirmed its launch on this Tuesday. The company revealed that the launch will happen in simultaneous events in New York, London and Taipei.

And to further create hype, it is expected that the HTC Company will kick off the sale of its flagship smartphone HTC 10 from Friday onwards, three days after its scheduled launch. This rumoured sale date is however only for the Taiwan region, and other reports say that the flagship smartphone will be released in the US market in the second week of May.

The flagship smartphone is making several rounds on the internet among the enthusiasts with various leaks and teasers revealing a sneak view of the smartphone even before its official launch.

In the various teasers of the smartphone, the company boasted about the many unique and latest features that phone offers to the fanatics:

  • Many other camera capabilities like 4k resolution video recording, time lapse modes, optical image stabilisation, high speed shots, an UltraPixel sensor, and burst shots.

  • Great battery life

The flagship smartphone of HTC is going to be released into the market in three colours, namely, Silver, Gun Metal Black and Gold.

The company is going to release the flagship smartphone in three various targeting various price segments. One variant of the smartphone will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, 3GB RAM and 16 GB inbuilt storage, and will be available at a price of about $584.

The second variant will come at a price equivalent to $768 that features Snapdragon 820 processor, 3 GB RAM and 32 GB inbuilt storage.

And, the last third variant of the smartphone will also have the same processor but includes a 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of inbuilt storage, which will be available at a price of around $905.

These three variants differing in their processor, inbuilt storage and RAM will be the same in having

  • 15-inch QHD with 1440×2560 pixels resolution Super LCD 5 display

  • 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash

  • OIS

  • A laser autofocus mechanism

  • USB-Type C

  • 3000mAh battery

All the three variants will run on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Sense 8.0 skin on top.

Earlier, the popular tipster Evan Blass, widely known as, @evleaks says HTC will this time be ditching the ‘One’ and the prefix ‘M’ in the HTC One M10 and will be launching it with the moniker HTC 10. Another popular tipster, @onleaks also confirmed the moniker of HTC 10 by tweeting some specifications of the flagship smartphone and some images depicting the smartphone in different angles.
