Different areas of India celebrate this 5 days long festival for various reasons. Some believe that Lord Vishnu and Lakshmi got married during this time of the year. West Bengal celebrates this festival in order to dedicate the adoration of “Mother Kali” the Dark Goddess of Strength, Lord Ganesha, the Elephant Headed God. In Jainism, Diwali has an extra implication to the enormous ceremony of Lord Mahavira attaining the constant happiness of Nirvana.

This festival is different from others because of its Uniqueness of five diverse philosophies. Each day has an exceptional ideal.
1st Day: Known as Dhanteras. This day is the Thirteenth Munar Day of Krishna Paksha, the dark fortnight of the month of Kartik. On this day, Lord Dhawantari appears off the ocean with Ayurvedic for Mankind. Diwali Celebration Started from this day.
At sunset, Hindus should bath and light lamps with some sweets and placed it in the in front of Yama Raj to get a protected life. This offer has to be done near a tulsi tree.
2nd Day: The second day is called as Choti Diwali. Demon Narakasur has been destroyed by Lord Krishna to make the world free from all fear, evil deeds during this day. Usually, Hindus take a bath with oil to remove tiredness, have a rest to celebrate the Diwali with so much enthusiasm and devotion.
3rd Day: On this day, worship needs to be performed unto Mother Lakshmi. Hindus disinfect themselves and accompanies with their family and priests and they perform worship the holy Goddess Lakshmi to gain the graces of wealth and prosperity.
4th Day: Many, many years ago, on this day, Lord Krishna leads the people of Vraja to perform Govardhan Pooja. From that time to till now, every year Hindus perform Govardhan Pooja on the fourth day of Diwali.
5th Day: The fifth day of Diwali is known as Bhai Teeka. This day is dedicated to sisters. On this day, brothers visit their sisters to explore of their welfare. During this day, sisters tie a Rakhi for the safety, success or wekk being for their brothers.
Diwali is celebrated in every corner of India. It is celebrated in the various South-Asian country too. If you are unaware of the sights and sounds of Diwali, light a clamp, sit faintly, close your eyes, focus on the supreme light and light up the soul.
