LG Electronics India, consumer durable major celebrates its mark of 20 years of being in the industry. The company kick started the celebration with the initiative “KarSalaam” dedicated to Indian soldiers. This initiative was launched prior to Republic Day and was undertaken by LG to salute the soldiers’ spirit of contributing towards serving the nation. The campaign was a completely unique preposition that invited the whole nation to come forward and send their wishes to the Indian Armed Forces.
This campaign is a commitment to LG’s corporate philosophy of `Life’s Good’ through which they extend a gesture of their support to the soldiers who aimlessly work each day to assure that we the citizens of India lead a life free from terror in this country .
This campaign was extensively advertised through varied communication platform through radio, digital, outdoor and mall activities. The campaign rolled out by the company engaged the common man through social media platforms to collect the messages and wishes of the people for the army men. The campaign encouraged the people to share their heartfelt wishes on http:www.karsalaam.in, where more than 2 lakh wishes were collected online and offline.
To mark complete partition in the campaign, Kim Ki Wan, MD of LG India, did its bit to extend its gratitude towards the armed Indian forces and handed over a cheque of one crore to the Home Minister Rajnath Singh for the CRPF welfare fund. He further spoke on the occasion and said,” We would like to take this opportunity to salute the spirit of the Indian soldiers by allowing the entire nation to pour out messages for these brave hearts with the aim to get them connected.
In this endeavour LG goes beyond boundaries and has initiated a remarkable history in the mankind to reach out to every citizen in any corner of the world and invite them to communicate their appreciation for our army , who selflessly volunteers to serve our nation endlessly all day and night.“
